The Louisiana Restaurant Association (LRA) will host its 4th Annual Oktoberfest on Sunday, October 26, from 3 to 6 p.m. at Live Oak at Cedar Lodge, located in the heart of Baton Rouge. The community is invited to join in this festive celebration featuring German-themed food, drinks, and live entertainment—all while supporting Louisiana’s restaurant and hospitality industry.

Guests will enjoy authentic Oktoberfest-inspired dishes and specialty beverages from local favorites including Cecelia Creole Bistro, Ruffino’s, SoLou, Our Mom’s Restaurant and Bar, Tacos del Cartel, 1717 at the Queen, and more. Local breweries and distillers will also be on hand, showcasing a wide variety of craft beverages. Entertainment will be provided by local band Pants Party, setting the stage for an afternoon filled with fun and camaraderie.

Attendees are encouraged to dress in costume and join in the spirited contests, including a costume contest and the always-popular stein holding competition. Guests will also have the chance to cast their vote for their favorite dish, with the winning restaurant receiving the coveted People’s Choice Award.

Tickets are $55 for general admission (discounted to $35 for restaurant members) and $25 for designated drivers. This event is 21+ only, and no pets or children will be admitted. Parking is available onsite. Tickets can be purchased here: https://shorturl.at/q1https://shorturl.at/izQUaHql

LRA Oktoberfest is made possible with the support of generous sponsors including Heineken, Ecolab, and Louisiana Seafood. Proceeds from the event will benefit Louisiana Restaurant Association programs, including the LRA Education Foundation, which supports ProStart®—a two-year culinary and hospitality management program offered in more than 70 schools statewide, including 19 schools in the Greater Baton Rouge area.

“This event is a great opportunity for the community to come together, enjoy incredible food and drinks, and support the future of Louisiana’s hospitality industry,” said Brad Watts, LRA Greater Baton Rouge Chapter President.”
