U.S. Lifts 40% Tariffs on Certain Brazilian Agricultural Goods
Nov 24, 2025
President Trump signed an Executive Order removing select Brazilian agricultural products, including coffee and beef, from the 40 percent IEEPA tariff imposed earlier this year. Other Brazilian imports, particularly non-agricultural and industrial goods, remain subject to existing tariffs.
The tariff removal took effect retroactively on November 13, aligning with recent adjustments made to reciprocal tariffs. U.S. Customs issued updated guidance confirming the effective date and advising importers to review past entries and file corrections if they are eligible for duty refunds. Additional information on the refund process is included in the agency’s CSMS notice.
