New Orleans to Host 2026 Pastry World Cup Selections and Bocuse d’Or at LRA Showcase

New Orleans & Company, Sirha Food, and the Louisiana Restaurant Association are bringing the Americas selections of the Pastry World Cup and Bocuse d’Or back to New Orleans in July 2026. For the first time, these prestigious international competitions will take place alongside the 2026 LRA Showcase at the New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center.

Saturday, July 25, 2026 – Pastry World Cup Americas

Eight teams from across the Americas will compete, each made up of three specialists: a sugar expert, a chocolatier, and an ice cream maker. Over the course of the competition, they’ll showcase technical skill, creativity, and precision to impress the jury. By the end of the day, only the top four teams will earn a place in the 2027 Pastry World Cup Grand Final.

Sunday, July 26, 2026 – Bocuse d’Or Americas

Eight teams from eight different countries will compete, each consisting of a chef, a commis, a coach, and a jury member. Together, they’ll present their vision of gastronomy, showcasing commitment, precision, and teamwork under the pressure of competition. At the end, only the top five teams will qualify for the 2027 Bocuse d’Or Grand Final.
