ASSOCIATION UPDATES

May 9, 2012- The LRA recently launched its new blog. It is the LRA's online commentary sharing opinions and reflections of the latest news and trends of the restaurant industry in Louisiana and beyond.

May 3, 2012- The LRAEF, through its Scholarship Fund, is accepting applications for its two scholarships- the General Hospitality Scholarship and the LRAEF-NRAEF Co-Branded Scholarship. Applications for both scholarships must be completed and postmarked by June 8, 2012. 

May 1, 2012- The LRAEF is proud to announce that the Rayne High School ProStart Management team placed third in the country at the National ProStart Invitational in Baltimore, Maryland on April 30, 2012. Read more.

April 23, 2012-  The LRAEF is pleased to name Alice Glenn as its executive director.

April 17, 2012- UPDATE: In a major setback for the National Labor Relations Board, a federal appeals court today officially put the brakes on a new poster mandate that the NLRB sought to impose on most U.S. busineeses starting April 30. Read more.
