Covering the topics you need to implement NOW to move forward amid the challenges of the coronavirus pandemic
The Louisiana Restaurant Association is hosting a first-of-its-kind virtual recovery marketing event, LRA Live!, presented by Republic National Distributing Company and Jack Daniel’s on Wednesday, November 11 through Thursday, November 12, 2020. In a time when restaurateurs are seeking solutions to challenges never before imagined, this free, two-day series of 15 and 25-minute sessions is designed to help improve their processes, professionalism and profitability as they move forward beyond the challenges of 2020 and explore future opportunities.
Sponsored by Walk-On’s Sports Bistreaux and B&G Food Enterprises, LLC, this virtual education series will cover topics like What the Election Outcome Means for Restaurants; How to Create Your Restaurant Comeback Strategy; Leave Me Alone, Dealing with Absences from Work; and How to Build an A-Team in 90 Days.
Throughout the pandemic, the restaurant industry has lost an estimated 115 million employees and $680 million in sales. Of those restaurants still in operation, 43 percent say it is unlikely their restaurant will still be in business in 6 months without an additional relief package from the federal government.
“It’s been an unbelievable year for restaurants in Louisiana, and I’m sure both unimagined challenges and opportunities have presented themselves,” explained LRA President and CEO Stan Harris. “It’s no secret that when we come together as peers in a format such as this, we can make remarkable strides in improving the business climate for both restaurants and the supplier community.”
The event will feature a series of 25-minute master sessions and 15-minute brand experiences.
Master Sessions are education-focused and span multiple subject areas. Through these sessions, presenters will provide operational best practices to give practical, implementable ideas restaurateurs can implement immediately. Speakers for master sessions include:
The event is free for all restaurant operators, and attendees can opt to join for one session, all sessions, or anything in between.
