Governor Edwards held a press conference at 2:30 p.m. today as COVID cases are rising across the state. Most of these restrictions will move back our state back to Phase 2. This update will replace the Governor’s current order and run for 28 days. These changes will take effect tomorrow, November 25. The new restrictions are:

Health officials are encouraging people to be extremely cautious this holiday season and recommend meeting with family members virtually if possible.
