December 16, 2008 – The LRA respectfully urges the New Orleans City Council to continue current sanitation services in the French Quarter and Central Business District. These services are scheduled to cease January 1, 2009. Read more.

December 9, 2008 – Restaurant operators with tipped employees have until Monday, March 2, 2009 to file with the Internal Revenue Service Form 8027, or the Employer’s Annual Information Return of Tip Income and Allocated Tips. Form 8027 instructions are available here.
