“The National Restaurant Association’s ServSafe program is leading the way in educating today’s restaurant operators and foodservice professionals across the country in proper food safety and handling,” said David Crownover, ServSafe Product Manager. “We are excited to participate in this year’s World Health Day as we focus on the strides our industry has made in promoting a safe environment for the 130 million Americans restaurants serve daily.”
NRA’s ServSafe program continues to be the gold standard in food-safety training, having recently issued its 6 millionth ServSafe certification. ServSafe leads the way in providing comprehensive educational materials to the restaurant industry. The training and certification program is recognized by more federal, state and local jurisdictions than any other food safety certification. Four areas of training are available: ServSafe Food Protection Manager, ServSafe Food Handler, ServSafe Alcohol and ServSafe Allergens.
ServSafe is currently offering a 20 percent discount on its food handler online training course. To find out more about the program, visit ServSafe’s World Health Day landing page here.
