The LRA SIF for Workers' Comp is committed to helping our members during this recovery process. We recommend the use of a third party for clean up when financially possible, however, if you determined to handle it internally, the safety of your employees is of the utmost importance.
The Louisiana Dept. of Health provides guidelines for retail food establishments in emergencies and during recovering. Contact the local health dept. for approval to reopen/operate if flood waters enter your foodservice establishment
The LRA is coordinating with Second Harvest Food Bank to direct non-perishable food items, cleaning supplies and financial support to help those most vulnerable.
