LRA NORTHWEST CHAPTER ANNOUNCES AWARD WINNERS
Shreveport, LA—The Louisiana Restaurant Association Northwest Chapter announced the 2006 award winners January 29 during the annual Awards Banquet at Ernest’s Orleans Restaurant.
The Restaurateur of the Year award went to Check Joe of Kon Tiki Restaurant. The Chapter awarded Active Member of the Year to Vivian Callahan of Don’s Seafood and Steakhouse, and the Associate Member of the Year to Ellen Ballard of Eagle Distributing.
The Northwest Chapter also inducted Vivian Callahan into the Chapter’s Hall of Fame. Cedric Glover, mayor of Shreveport, earned the Distinguished Service Award in recognition for innovations and significant contributions to the advancement of the hospitality industry.
