DON WEEMS TO SERVE AS LRA CHAIRMAN FOR 2007
The Louisiana Restaurant Association (LRA) is proud to announce that Don Weems will serve as chairman of the Board for 2007. The office of chairman is the highest-ranking volunteer position of the association, and chairmen serve for one year. Weems is co-owner of WaterFront Grill in Monroe.
Weems has been an active member of the Association since 1997 and was elected to the LRA Board of Directors in 1999. In 2005, he served as Chair of the LRA Education Foundation (LRAEF) Board of Trustees and he received the Presidential Leadership Award. In 2002, Weems was named Restaurateur of the Year, the Association’s most prestigious award.
