Pat Reed has been the head cook, kitchen supervisor and catering specialist, working as many as 50 hours a week for the past 22 years. Reed has never missed a day of work, except when she had a knee replacement surgery. Knowing all the customers, Reed comes to work on Sundays, evenings or early mornings if necessary.
“Pat is not only an employee, but part of the family also,” said Mary Traylor, owner of The Kitchen.
