At age 77, Margaret Brooks is still in love with her job at Warehouse No. 1 in Monroe. She first began taking night shifts there in 1980. Amazingly, this was her second job for many years. By day, Margaret worked in a public school cafeteria. Although she finally retired from the school system, she remains an icon at Warehouse No. 1.
“In all our years, there has been no one who has had Margaret’s work ethic,” said Warehouse No. 1 owner Jan Mason.
