The LRA Dining Gift Certificate Program works like this:

LRA Dining Gift Certificates are issued in $10 and $25 denominations. They can be purchased at the LRA state office or by phone. Purchases can be made by individuals or corporations.

Everytime a LRA Dining Gift Certificate is purchased, the purchaser is provided with a list of all LRA participating restaurants that includes the restaurant name, address, city and phone number. This way, even if you never redeem a LRA Gift Certificate, you will receive the advertising benefit of being included on the list. Also, since the program is statewide, many patrons will retain the list as a source for future dining options. Your restaurant will also be listed on the LRA�s web page (www.lra.org) as accepting LRA Dining Gift Certificates. Even if you have accepted LRA Dining Gift Certificates in the past, you must sign up to be included in the new LRA Dining Gift Certificate program.

It is important that your staff be familiar with the program as well. All participating members will receive information showing what the Dining Gift Certificates look like, instructions on how to accept them and a LRA Gift Certificate decal.

When you accept a LRA Dining Gift Certificate from a patron, it should be treated as cash and be redeemable at all times. Regardless of the face value of the gift certificate, change must be given to patrons whose bills are less than face value.
